By providing meaningful notifications to policyholders around events that can affect them financially, the insurer adds significant value to the insurance policy lifespan.


Proactive Pro provides insurers with an opportunity to partner with their policyholders toward the common goal of lessening or avoiding a claim.

We engage in digital and voice outreach to customers threatened by inclement weather or other man-made events. Proactive Pro utilizes weather, news and social media sources to identify events and selects customers who are most likely to experience a property damage event.

Digital messaging is designed to promote action on the policyholder’s part and voice outreach is intended to provide those most impacted with helpful information in a timely manner
MEET THE FOUNDER

Darin McCarthy
I grew up in the southern Cascade mountains of Northern California and every year fire season preparation made an impression on me growing up. My parents had a few acres that required year-round maintenance to limit a very real threat. There were few roads to escape the area and considering the speed at which fires travel it probably would not have mattered much. Terrifying to consider.
I pursued a career in insurance claims as I have an investigative mind and I enjoy helping people and problem solving. After nearly three decades serving policyholders, I had the privilege of launching two claim departments built from scratch and was able to take my past experiences with living above the fire line and leading claims teams to create claims operations with a unique focus on the customer.
The Camp Fire in 2018 in Paradise California was a defining event for proactive operations and the results were groundbreaking. It was validation that the proactive approach is the right thing to do for insurance customers.
Creating and leading teams who share my vision around customer experience is my passion.
